The Barbican Centre is a major cultural hub in London, renowned for its diverse programming in arts, music, theatre, and film.
To amplify its social media presence and engage its audience effectively, the Barbican Centre sought expert consultancy.
THE BRIEF
Avocado Social was commissioned to conduct two online consultancy sessions, complemented by ongoing monthly support.
The goal was to assess the Barbican’s existing social media strategy and develop actionable insights to enhance its online engagement.
THE SOLUTION
A series of social media consultancy sessions including –
Session 1: Setting the Scene – In the first 90-minute session, we performed a live audit of the Barbican’s social media channels and Google Analytics.
Session 2: Social Media Content Strategy – In the second session, we focused on the Barbican’s posted content, covering: Strategies for utilising content across multiple platforms, establishing content pillars and optimal post frequency and enhancing copywriting and calls-to-action
Monthly Consultancy Calls – We delivered 12 monthly one-hour consultancy sessions to provide analysis of past social media activity, support the implementation of the social media strategy and answer questions from the Barbican team
