Star Pubs & Bars is the pub arm of Heineken UK.

They operate around 2,400 pubs in the UK, providing their publicans with support across all areas of pub management to ensure their success.

In 2019, Heineken identified social media marketing as something their publicans could significantly improve to generate greater footfall to their pubs.

They wanted to provide support to ensure the quality of social media posts improved, marketing was done more strategically, and better results realised.

Star Pubs wanted to provide social media training at scale and in the most efficient way possible.

In 2019 we created Social Media for Publicans, an on-demand training platform consisting of 15+ hours of bespoke social media courses, broken up into bitesize chunks.

Now into our fifth year working with the Star Pubs and Heineken teams, this content is kept up to date with the latest best practices, and the most relatable examples.

Training can be accessed by Star publicans through a dedicated LMS or via YouTube, at any time, providing either a comprehensive guide to social media marketing, or a quick answer to a specific question.
