THE STORY
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) is the world’s largest alliance of public service media organizations, comprising 68 members representing 113 organizations across 56 countries.
The EBU operates both the Eurovision and Euroradio telecommunications networks, which serve as the backbone for major live television and radio broadcasts.
In 2019, we began working with the EBU as they sought innovative ways to engage their core audience—public service media organizations throughout Europe.
THE BRIEF
Our challenge was to broaden the EBU’s reach, educate key stakeholders on the organization’s mission, and foster stronger relationships with industry influencers and politicians.
The EBU also sought to implement cutting-edge communication strategies to keep their community inspired and maintain their prominence within the broadcasting industry.
THE SOLUTION
We initiated a comprehensive social media and competitor audit to identify growth opportunities, including revamping the EBU’s LinkedIn approach, relaunching their Instagram presence, and exploring paid media strategies.
We developed a tailored social media strategy and provided in-depth training to the EBU’s marketing and communications teams.
For over four years, we have offered monthly consultancy, delivering insights on the latest trends, features, and supported ongoing paid advertising campaigns.
