Social media can be confusing and overwhelming, but done right it can make a huge difference to your business and instantly get you in front of your target customer.
We set up Avocado Social to provide practical advice and proven strategies to startups, growing businesses and big brands. Our aim is to empower you to use social media effectively.
We coach businesses on the most important tactics for growing their online communities, without complicated jargon or vague theories. We regularly hold public workshops, as well as offering bespoke in house training and one to one coaching allowing us to work with businesses at every stage.
We’ve worked with Tesco, the BBC, Cancer Research UK, Cabana and EDF Energy, as well as numerous startups including Freida’s Pantry and SendOwl. We’re proud of our consistently glowing feedback, being there for our clients is what we do best.
Avocado Social was founded in 2014 by Alison Battisby, who had been working as a freelance social media consultant and saw a gap in the market as social media sites gained rapid popularity. Alison wanted to strip down the huge amounts of jargon and conflicting advice, to offer clients the most important social media knowledge to confidently grow their online communities.
Alison has delivered expert advice to a range of startups, growing enterprises and global brands. She has been involved in some ground-breaking social media projects for brands including Brita, Tesco and Pringles at some top London advertising agencies and through her freelance consultancy.
